- ➤ American Legion Post is breaking ground on a new community building on Old Rutledge Pike today—Monday, March 17th, 2025. The facility will serve veterans, their families and community groups seeking a family-friendly space. 10 News
- ➤ Local nonprofit Two Bikes runs an Old City shop that fixes up donated bicycles, offers easy community rides, and teaches high schoolers job skills. Founders Mitchell Connell and Matthew Zingg started the locally owned shop after DreamBikes closed in 2020, and it runs a Bike School (a 12 week paid program) along with a Pedal It Forward program that gave away 230 bikes in 2024 (partnering with local nonprofits).
