- ➤ Gracie Giles became the first female and only student from Anderson County chosen as the East Tennessee Regional Star Farmer—she earned the honor after finishing many contests and interviews. She helped run a program that donates 5,000 lbs of meat each month to local churches and will study Agricultural Marketing and Agriculture Communications to continue her farming work. 10 News
