- ➤ A Maryville police officer was injured while on his motorcycle responding to a crash on April 3rd — he was taken to a local hospital for evaluation. 6 News
- ➤ A motorcycle crash on US Highway 25/70 in Jefferson County left 35-year-old Jeremy Arangio dead and injured four others when his 2005 Kawasaki JKA struck a 1998 Toyota Sienna after he attempted to pass a Subaru Ascent—charges are pending against the Sienna driver, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. 6 News

- ➤ A 24-year-old Knoxville man pulled a handgun from his backpack during Cedar Bluff Middle School's dismissal on Tuesday when he got upset at a woman behind a car, stepped into traffic and nearly caused an accident, and he now faces charges of aggravated assault, possession and reckless endangerment after police found him nearby with 9 grams of marijuana, police said.
