- ➤ Officers with the Knoxville Police Department responded to a crash on North Broadway near Atlantic Avenue that struck an 8-year-old boy and kept the involved vehicle at the scene—the boy was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with serious injuries. 10 News

- ➤ High school students nearing graduation attended a military service academy day to learn about career options and application steps for joining the armed forces—offering direct information to help prepare for military service. - ➤ Today, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation launched its new TBI Find app to help locate missing adults by letting users create an account with photos and key information for family members with cognitive issues—data that law enforcement will use to issue Silver Alerts during emergencies. - ➤ The FDA on April 12th recalled over 1,000 lbs of Blue Ridge Beef puppy and kitten foods after tests found salmonella and listeria in samples following a customer complaint. The products were sold in Tennessee and other states between January 3rd and January 24th, and pet owners are urged to return or safely destroy any remaining items—protecting both pets and people. 6 News
