- ➤ A 7-year-old boy found a 14-carat gold necklace hidden in an Easter egg during a JTV hunt in downtown Knoxville while walking with his father—both were surprised by the find. JTV said they will plan more egg hunts in the future to give back to the community. 10 News
ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Rural Metro firefighter was injured fighting a house fire in north Knox County on Heiskell Road at about 10 a.m.—crews kept the flames contained amid gusting winds while one person was checked at the scene. WVLT 8
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Knoxville Police indicted three suspects on murder and drug charges in connection with two drug-related deaths—Amanda Martin, 40, and George Joslin, 45, face charges in the March death of a 54-year-old woman at a McCroskey Avenue home and Demichael Hines, 36, is charged in the December death of an 18-year-old at a Fountain City sober living facility. 6 News
