- ➤ Beginning Wednesday, travelers using a driver’s license at McGhee Tyson Airport needed a REAL ID-compliant form of identification, and TSA officials said a paper copy alone was not accepted — extra screening occurred if older IDs were used. Officials advised arriving three hours early — a step to prevent delays. 10 News
- ➤ High school students in Knoxville can apply now through May 31 to join Mayor Indya Kincannon’s Youth Council, which gives youth a chance to help shape local policy and decision making. Those selected will begin serving in August—meeting monthly to learn about government structure and work on issues such as homelessness, violence prevention, civic engagement, sustainability, and mental health and trauma.
