- ➤ Two teens—one aged 16 and the other 14—were arrested in Kingston after police responded at 12:35 a.m. to a drive-thru robbery at a McDonald’s when one teen allegedly brandished an air soft gun to a fast food worker, and they now face charges of aggravated assault and underage consumption. 10 News

- ➤ On Friday evening, protesters gathered downtown to demand a fair process for citizenship and to voice their support for immigrants amid concerns over ICE deportations and the deployment of National Guard troops to Los Angeles. Hannah Freeman of the Knoxville Party of Socialism and Liberation organized the demonstration at Market Square as the group marched down Market Street while local officials stressed the right to peaceful assembly.
