- ➤ Knox County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help finding 65-year-old Keith Conley who was last seen leaving South Knox County at about 5 a.m. heading to work in Solway when his white 2003 Ford Ranger with a blue toolbox was spotted on Alcoa Highway near Topside Road— authorities are still investigating his disappearance. - ➤ A man died and another was detained in a shooting at the Days Inn on Dante Road Tuesday around 3 a.m.—police said they found the victim after reports of a fight, and firefighters tried to save him as evidence was collected and the investigation continues. 6 News

- ➤ Recent UT graduates have reported frustrations finding work as data shows 6% of new graduates are unemployed compared to a 4% national rate—students like Marcus Love and Karaley Carmichael said employers demand too much experience. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Researchers in Knoxville are training an artificial intelligence program to read pathology reports quickly — the system from the University of Tennessee Knoxville and UT Medical Center will compare data with cancer staging information to reduce the time required to diagnose breast cancer. The technology is still being fine-tuned and UTMC may pilot the program in the near future. WVLT 8
- ➤ The Knox County Forensics Center reported 13 xylazine-linked overdoses in 2025, down from 94 deaths in 2024, and experts warn the drug, which does not respond to naloxone, may soon slip from East Tennessee's top five deadliest drugs+ it is often mixed with fentanyl, methamphetamine or cocaine. 10 News
