ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A deputy from the Knox County Sheriff's Office was hospitalized after his vehicle collided head-on with another at 10 p.m. on Sunday in the Halls area while responding to an active fight call, and his probation officer did not require treatment although one adult male in the other vehicle sustained injuries. 10 News

- ➤ Flock, a new craft beer and wine bar, will open on Sutherland Avenue in early September in the former Albright Grove space at 2924 Sutherland Avenue—offering house-brewed beer, small-batch wines on tap and a simple food menu designed by local founders including Brandon Smith of Orange Hat Brewing. The bar plans live music, themed dinners and seasonal events to bring neighbors together. 10 News

- ➤ U.S. Marshals arrested 32 year old Kyshonn Green in Knoxville after he was accused of a deadly warehouse shooting in Gates, New York on Saturday—officers took him into custody at a Greyhound bus stop on Sunday as he left the bus. 6 News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Beginning Tuesday at 7 p.m., crews will repair the pavement at both ends of the I-275 bridge near downtown Knoxville, causing lane closures each night until 6 a.m. on Friday (TDOT says). Drivers should plan for delays (use extra caution). WVLT 8
- ➤ One lane of Hall Road in Alcoa was closed on Monday for water main repairs—water crews arrived at 7:20 a.m.—and the repair was expected to take several hours, affecting most homes in the Hall Community. 6 News
- ➤ A large water main break was discovered on Hall Road in Alcoa early Monday and one lane was shut down, affecting residents in the Hall Community. City officials said repair work was expected to take several more hours. WVLT 8
