- ➤ On a hot Saturday morning in August, about 50 volunteers from Legacy Parks Foundation and Keep Knoxville Beautiful worked to replant trees and update landscaping at French Broad Veterans Memorial Park — a site built next to the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery to honor veterans' families. - ➤ The PFHTA Golf Tournament will be held on September 25 at Sevierville Golf Club and is presented by Food City—organizers are seeking sponsors and teams to raise funds for local charities. Proceeds will help support community programs including PFHTA scholarships and services for kids. WVLT 8

- ➤ Knoxville police are asking for help after a man was robbed at knifepoint in the Kroger parking lot on N. Broadway—surveillance shows the suspect in a purple T-shirt and cargo shorts fleeing in a Chevy Trailblazer on Friday afternoon. 6 News

- ➤ A 2002 BMW was donated to a Cocke County nonprofit on Aug. 16th—its raffle will raise money to help cancer patients. The fundraiser aims to support those battling cancer in the community. WVLT 8
- ➤ Remote Area Medical is hosting a free mobile telehealth clinic today at CareCuts of Knoxville on 519 Williams Street—near Knox Area Rescue Ministries—from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On-site nurses will guide patients through online consultations—without needing personal technology—and offer medical giveaways, with no ID required. 10 News
