- ➤ Officials said a Silver Alert is active for missing 89-year-old James Garren from Vonore who may be driving a 2007 white Cadillac Escalade EXT with Tennessee plate C574UT and is 5’11” tall and 155 lbs with gray hair and brown eyes—authorities warn his medical condition could keep him from returning home safely and ask anyone who sees him to notify police. 10 News

- ➤ TDOT said that intermittent lane closures on I-275 near downtown Knoxville will run tonight from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. around the Elm Street — Bernard Avenue bridge, so drivers should expect delays from ongoing road work. WVLT 8
- ➤ TDOT warned Knoxville drivers that I-75 in Campbell County is facing lane closures—southbound lanes have been reduced to one lane since Sunday at 7 p.m. and northbound lanes will see one lane closed today at 7 p.m. as crews begin deck repairs on bridges over Better Chanee Road and the R.J. Corman Railroad, with work expected to finish by 6 a.m. on Saturday, August 23. The schedule may change with weather conditions. WVLT 8
