- ➤ A 71-year-old Monroe County woman was attacked on Saturday by a group of 10 to 15 pit bull mix dogs at her Madisonville home—bystanders corralled the animals while she was treated at the scene before being taken to the hospital, and four individuals were charged with animal-related crimes. - ➤ Four people were charged after 10 to 15 pit bull mix dogs attacked a 71-year-old woman in Madisonville Saturday—witnesses said the attack on Fairview Road left her with deep cuts and emergency responders treated her before taking her to the University of Tennessee Medical Center. 6 News

- ➤ Zoo Knoxville’s red panda cubs—two males born on June 3 to parents Sisu and Doofah—made their public debut on Saturday in the Boyd Family Red Panda Village as mom Sisu cared for them while they played in the enclosure; the cubs are the first red pandas born at the zoo in five years. 10 News
