  • The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has launched a hotline, 1-800-TBI-FIND, for reporting missing persons in the East Tennessee flood-affected areas.  WVLT 8

  • Sevier County, affected by flooding from Hurricane Helene, updates evacuation orders, allowing some residents to return home while keeping others areas closed.  6 News
  • Following Hurricane Helene, the Tennessee Valley Authority is successfully managing water levels by spilling record amounts of water through its dams, ensuring Knoxville and the main Tennessee River avoid flooding despite the storm's heavy rainfall.  Knoxville News Sentinel
