- ➤ On a hot Saturday morning in August, about 50 volunteers from Legacy Parks Foundation and Keep Knoxville Beautiful worked to replant trees and update landscaping at French Broad Veterans Memorial Park — a site built next to the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery to honor veterans' families. - ➤ A 2002 BMW was donated to a Cocke County nonprofit on Aug. 16th—its raffle will raise money to help cancer patients. The fundraiser aims to support those battling cancer in the community. WVLT 8
